I can't believe I never posted an update on the baby after my repeat level II ultrasound on March 1st. But, to cut straight to the chase, his brain is all clear of cysts. The Dr was very happy with the results, but of course, not nearly as happy and relieved as I am. The ultrasound also showed that his growth is perfect, he was in the 54th percentile for weight, he was breech (but by OB thinks he has since turned), and all other organs, systems, amniotic fluid, are just fine.
I've been trying to savor every moment of this pregnanty, since it very well may be my last. though I'm definitely getting bigger and more uncomfortable (I'm almost 33 weeks), I'm doing my best to focus on the positive, like the sweet little kicks in the ribs, the hiccups, the foot sticking straight out of my stomach, etc.
I've always thought the excitement of having a second, and now third baby, is compounded by the joy of going through it witha 3 year old. Sienna is just so enthralled and mesmerized by the baby. She is constantly rubbing my belly, giving the baby kisses, covering him with a blanket, coming up with names (like poo-poo or pee-pee albiet), giving him gifts, etc. Sage was the same way when I was pregnant with Sienna, and it just warms my heart to see the love they have for their sibling before he/she even arrives.
