She has an infection in her molar (the one that was capped) and has to have it extracted. They're going to put under sedation by using three heavy duty drugs: Demerol, Versed, and some other narcotic that I can't currently remember. The Demerol is for pain, the Versed to (hopefully) make it so she doesn't remember the incident, and the other drug to have a sedation affect. Due to her past reaction at Children's, it's likely that she will again fight by screaming yelling and kicking. While she won't remember the event, I definitely will, and I am not looking forward to it AT ALL. They don't have any openings until 8/18 which happens to be her first day of school, which I refuse to make her miss. So, on 8/22 we'll be going in to have the procedure done, unless they have a cancellation, then we'll do it sooner. I think I'm more anxious than she is.
